Lindsay is a girl who is a free spirit and takes after her father in being excellent at poker. Giovanni is her one night stand that left before she woke up years ago (and also her now brother-in-law)…when he knows up at her place in Berlin all bets are off. They have undeniable chemistry and yet both have some very deeply guarded secrets. I love that things weren’t revealed too quickly and there was always some way to keep me interested.
But while it flowed I just felt there was something missing from this book and I can’t put my finger on it. While I loved the poker aspect and that Lindsay was tough and didn’t need a man, she was still vulnerable.
