We aren’t trying to stamp ourselves with a top-secret label. We wanted to write without apology. We wanted to not be pigeon holed into a specific outline. We wanted to give readers a story without them assuming how the story will flow. Everyone has their favorite authors, right? And when you pick up their books, you expect something from them. Whether it’s an alpha male, heavy angst, a happily ever after, there’s something you are absolutely certain the book will contain. Heck, we’re readers, too, we get it.
How can anyone not love Lennon. If you have read the other 2 books in this series you can’t help but fall in love with her and her carefree, independent ways. I love the friendship of the three girls throughout this series. Poor Lennon was always misunderstood, and that showed even more (obviously) in this book. Her family doesn’t understand her at all, but I had honestly hoped her twin brother would have ended up being more understanding. I felt bad for her every time she was around her family. But she stuck to her guns and never changed for them or anyone else.
I love how Jasper and Lennon meet, my favorite thing was the different names at Starbucks. What a great and creative idea. I always got so excited to see which names they would use next!
Jasper had a HUGE secret, and I do wish Lennon would have reacted to it more then she did. At the end, his was bigger then hers yet his reaction was 10 times worse. BUT, that wasn’t enough to turn me off of this book (or this series).
Piper Rayne are so great with the comedy and you can’t help but laugh off and on through this book. The overall light-hearted feel always put one in a better mood, and this book is no different.
